What Shapes Our Life Together

The GROW discipleship model helps us grow as disciples of Jesus.

GROW stands for:

  • Grounded in God: we gather around worship and Scripture

  • Reach Out in Prayer: prayer is part of our worship service and our life together

  • Open Up in Fellowship: we welcome newcomers, greet one another and make time for conversation and fellowship

  • Walk as Disciples: we grow through small groups, Bible study, First Steps, ministry and serving others

How Our Worship Service Flows

  • God’s Glory: We behold God’s glory through songs of praise and the reading of God’s Word.

  • God’s Grace: We receive God’s grace through Jesus as we confess our sins and bring our prayers and needs before Him.

  • God’s Family: We welcome one another and celebrate what God is doing in our KBF family including our children and youth. We also celebrate other parts of the KBF family during this time. KBF Kids and Youth go to their respective programs.

  • God’s Word: We hear God's Word read and preached and we respond in worship through song.

  • God’s Kingdom: We learn about opportunities to participate in God’s Kingdom in the local community and globally.

  • God’s Blessing and Sending: We receive God’s blessing and are sent out to live for Jesus through a final song and benediction.
