We are an English-speaking* congregation of about 150 people, coming from a variety of ethnic, denominational, and cultural backgrounds. We are committed to the centrality of the Word of God, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, celebrative worship, and life together as a community.
We have in-person worship services. We meet from 10:00-11:15 am. 礼拝は10:00 amから11:15 am頃迄対面で行われています。

Brief History:
Kurume Bible Fellowship (KBF) began as a worship group started by several families of Christian missionaries who came to Japan in the early 1960s. Later, a church board (now the church council) was formed and the first pastor was invited in the 1970s. Over the next 40 to 50 years, the church was able to invite several capable pastors from overseas, and today it is an active Protestant international Christian church with about 150 people attending Sunday services. Over the past decade or so, a pastoral team has been formed with the addition of several Japanese pastors to further strengthen the church’s mission to Japan, a country with few Christians.

Our services are held in the auditorium of Christian Academy in Japan which is located on the Seibu-Ikebukuro line (about 20 minutes from Ikebukuro).
